Share Market Closing 18th November 2024: The decline in the stock market since October continued today. On the first day of the week, the BSE Sensex closed down 241.30 points at 77,339.01 points. Along with this, NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed down 78.90 points at 23,453.80 points. A big decline was seen in IT stocks on Monday. Let us tell you that today the stock market started trading in the red mark with a decline. Last week on Thursday, the BSE Sensex closed at 77,580.31 points with a loss of 110.64 points, and the Nifty 50 also closed down 26.35 points at 23,532.70 points.
Today, out of 30 Sensex companies, 16 shares closed with a decline, and 14 shares closed with a gain. Similarly, out of 50 Nifty 50 companies, 29 shares closed with a decline and 21 shares closed with a gain.
Tata Steel shares rise sharply.
Among the Sensex companies, shares of Tata Steel closed with the highest gain of 2.39 percent today. Apart from this, shares of Hindustan Unilever closed with a gain of 1.46 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 1.42 percent, Nestle India 1.37 percent, State Bank of India 1.21 percent, Adani Ports 1.11 percent, JSW Steel shares closed with a gain of 1.09 percent. Apart from these, shares of Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Larsen & Toubro, ITC, Bajaj Finance, and Power Grid also closed in the green mark.
TCS shares closed with a big decline
TCS shares closed with a maximum decline of 3.07 percent today. Infosys shares closed with a decline of 2.62 percent, NTPC 1.44 percent, HCL Tech 1.43 percent, Axis Bank 1.36 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.32 percent, Bajaj Finserv 1.27 percent, Sun Pharma 1.22 percent, IndusInd Bank shares closed with a decline of 1.19 percent. Along with these, shares of Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, UltraTech Cement, Titan, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, and Asian Paints also closed with a decline.
