Thor and RRR actor Stevenson passes away

Mumbai: Irish actor Ray Stevenson, who played the role of the villainous British governor in the film ‘RRR’, has died at the age of 58. However, the cause of his death is not known. The team of ‘RRR’ including SS Rajamouli paid tribute to Ray Stevens. Stevenson rose to fame with roles in Marvel’s ‘Thor’ franchise and ‘Wise Kings’.

Originally born in Lisbon, Ireland, Stevenson started his career with TV serials. Later he turned towards films.

Recalling the shooting of ‘RRR’, Rajamouli said that his mere presence on the set made the entire atmosphere emotional. It was really fun working with him. Even though he was fifty-two years old during the shooting of ‘RRR’, he did his own stunt scenes.
