Share Market Closing 13th November 2024: The devastation that started in the stock market about one and a half months ago is not stopping. The Indian stock market once again registered a terrible decline today. On Wednesday, the BSE Sensex closed at 77,690.95 points with a decline of 984.23 points. In this way, the NSE Nifty 50 index also closed at 23,559.05 points with a decline of 324.40 points. Let us tell you that on Tuesday, the Sensex had fallen by 820.97 points and the Nifty 50 by 257.85 points.
Sensex chart turns red after a huge fall.
On the third day of the week, 26 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the red with losses and only 4 companies closed in the green with gains. On the other hand, 44 out of 50 Nifty 50 companies closed in the red with losses and only 6 companies closed in the green. This simply means that today once again there has been a massive sell-off in the shares of most companies.
Big fall in Mahindra & Mahindra shares
Among the Sensex companies, Mahindra & Mahindra shares recorded a maximum decline of 3.23 percent today. Shares of Tata Steel fell by 3.02 percent, Adani Ports by 2.82 percent, JSW Steel by 2.18 percent, IndusInd Bank by 1.89 percent, Reliance Industries by 1.73 percent, HDFC Bank by 1.67 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank by 1.67 percent, State Bank of India by 1.63 percent, Bajaj Finserv by 1.58 percent, Axis Bank by 1.35 percent, Larsen & Toubro by 1.27 percent, Power Grid by 1.18 percent, Sun Pharma by 1.16 percent, TCS shares closed with a decline of 1.13 percent.
Only the shares of these 4 companies closed in the green mark
Apart from these, shares of ICICI Bank, Nestle India, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Bajaj Finance, Maruti Suzuki, Titan, HCL Tech, Bharti Airtel, ITC and Hindustan Unilever also declined. However, shares of Tata Motors closed with a gain of 0.29 percent, NTPC shares 0.21 percent, Asian Paints shares 0.16 percent, and Infosys shares 0.01 percent.
