New Tehri: A meeting of the District Working Committee of the BJP Kisan Morcha was held at the BJP office. In which the interests of farmers and improving their standard of living were discussed, a strategy was formulated to strengthen the role of farmers for the upcoming Lok Sabha and local self-government elections. Farmers were appealed to take maximum advantage of the schemes of the agriculture and horticulture department by setting up departmental stalls and information about the agricultural schemes was given.

Addressing the executive committee, BJP Kisan Morcha state president Jogendrasinh Pundir said that the central and state BJP governments are making continuous efforts to improve the living standards of farmers and increase their income. Farmers are being helped by giving Samman Nidhi. All the schemes have been implemented keeping in mind the interest of the farmers. Farmers should take advantage of this immediately.

Govind Singh Rawat, state vice-president of Kisan Morcha and Jagmohan Chand, state media in-charge of the morcha, said that farmers are the backbone of the country. That is why central and state government are fully focused on farmers. Showing full strength in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he appealed to Modi to make him the PM again.
