The teaser of Diljit Dosanjh’s film ‘Chamkeela’ has been released

The first teaser of Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film ‘Chamkeela’ starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra is finally out. The film depicts the life of Punjab’s most influential singer Amar Singh Chamkila, also known as the ‘Elvis of Punjab’. Chamkila was murdered at the age of 27.

While sharing the first teaser of the film with fans, Netflix captioned the post, Jo Naam Saalon Se Aapke Dil Aur Manghar Par Chhaya Hai Wo Ab Aapke Aam Aya Hai. Watch the untold story of Punjab’s best-selling artist Amar Singh Chamkila, soon only on Netflix!

The teaser shows Diljit without a turban for the first time. In the film, Parineeti plays Chamkila’s friend Amarjyot Kaur, who was killed in the 1988 massacre.
