New Parliament: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building on Sunday. But amidst all this, Sangrur MP Simranjit Singh Mann has made a fresh claim that the new parliament has been built on the land of Gurughar.

Simranjit Singh Mann tweeted that the new building stands on land owned by Raisina’s brother Lakhi Shah Banjara and was given by Sardar Baghel Singh for the purpose of building Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib and should be returned to the Sikhs.

Along with this he said that we also want Parliament to recognize the 40 years passed without justice for the Sikh Genocide and declare 2024 as the Sikh Genocide Commemorative Year.

Also regarding the inauguration of the Parliament, Mann said that under no circumstances should the person responsible for the massacre of innocent civilians inaugurate this new Parliament.

Let us tell you that in the second phase of the inauguration of the new Parliament House, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that some moments become immortal in the country’s development journey. May 28 is one such day. He said that this is not just a building but a reflection of the aspirations and dreams of 140 crore Indians.

He said that today is an auspicious day for the country. Amrit Mohotsav is being celebrated on the completion of 75 years of independence of the country. In this Amrit Mohotsav, the people of India have given this new parliament building as a gift to their democracy. An interfaith prayer was organized in the Parliament building complex this morning, I congratulate all the countrymen for this golden moment of Indian democracy.
