Uttar Pradesh: A video of a girl named Varnika Chaudhary went viral on social media, following which the police initiated an investigation and subsequently pressed charges against her.
A strange case was observed in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj. A girl named Varnika shot a wedding video sitting on top of a moving car’s bonnet and also posted it on various social media platforms. However, she was fined 17000 Rupees after she posted the video publicly. The police stated that a girl named Vartika Chaudhary made a video on a moving car’s bonnet which went viral on social media, after which they interrogated and then later fined her. The SHO Bhanu Pratap said that the girl was in a bride’s attire and shot the video near Saints Cathedral, sitting on a moving SUV’s bonnet.
The Prayagraj police stated that the girl had previously filmed a video of her riding a two wheeler without a helmet near the Company Bagh (Chandrashekhar Azad Park) first. After receiving information about this case, the SHO said that the girl has been fined Rs. 15,000 as she violated traffic rules and regulations. The police also stated another incident which was quite similar to this, a video in which two women were seen sitting on a moving car’s bonnet in Ayodhya and the video went viral on social media. He said that the owner of the car was fined 18,000 Rupees.
