The Delhi government’s decision was reversed in the first order after the central ordinance

The ongoing dispute between the elected government in Delhi and the LG is not going to stop now. The first order in this matter was passed after the ordinance was promulgated yesterday. The central government brought the ordinance on May 19. The ordinance re-delegated the power of transfer and appointment of officers of Delhi to the Lieutenant Governor.

VVJ Rajasekhar ordered de-sealing of the offices

According to the information received, after the ordinance, Special Secretary Y. VVJ Rajasekhar has ordered the offices to be de-sealed. The officers who were given jobs at the behest of Saurabh Bhardwaj have been asked to maintain status quo till May 10 before Supreme Court’s order. Soon after the de-sealing order, VV J Rajasekhar issued an order to these officials.

Arvind Kejriwal is opposing the government regarding this order.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘This ordinance of the Center is unconstitutional and against democracy. We will go to the Supreme Court against it. Hours after the Supreme Court closed, the central government brought the ordinance to reverse the verdict. CM Kejriwal called this ordinance a direct contempt of the Supreme Court. He alleged that the central government wanted to obstruct his work.
