Prayagraj, May 24 (Hindustan Times). Afzal Ansari’s appeal has been adjourned by the Gazipur district court in the gangster case. The Allahabad High Court will hear the matter on Thursday.
A bench of Justice Rajiv Mishra was hearing an appeal filed by Afzal Ansari. The hearing in this matter has been adjourned before this as well. When the matter came up for hearing on Wednesday, it was said that the Additional Advocate General was present in another court on another matter. Hence the hearing has been adjourned till today. Postponing today’s hearing, the court has fixed the date of hearing on Thursday.
Gazipur district court has sentenced Afzal Ansari to four years in jail in a gangster case. Afzal has challenged the district court’s decision. Afzal says that the lower court did not take the right decision.
