A leap of 20 years in the sequel of ‘Gadar’
Sunny Deol’s film ‘Gadar 2’ is directed by Anil Sharma. The film will show the story from the first part, but there will be a leap of 20 years in the story. The plot of ‘Gadar 2’ will reportedly revolve around the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

When ‘Gadar’ was released in 2001, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel crushed Gadar at the box office. The film broke all box office records. It had a tremendous clash with Aamir Khan’s Oscar-nominated film ‘Lagaan’. Dialogues like ‘Humara Hindustan zindabad tha, zindabad hai aur zindabad rahega’ from the film became a household name. The song was also well liked. Now in its sequel Sunny will again become ‘Tara Singh’ and Ameesha will once again be seen in the role of ‘Sakina’. His son will be played by Utkarsh Sharma. This film is releasing in theaters on August 11, 2023.
