Shimla: In Himachal Pradesh, the opposition BJP has strongly criticized the state government’s decision to stop non-practice allowance (NPA) of doctors. BJP State President Dr Rajeev Bindal said on Sunday that medical services are very important in the context of Himachal Pradesh. 95% of health services in Himachal Pradesh, including remote areas, depend on primary health centres, CHCs and hospitals. Amidst such circumstances, the Sukhu government has done a great injustice to the doctors by closing the NP.

Bindal said that the doctors of Himachal Pradesh and especially the doctors of Himachal Pradesh are known for providing excellent services and not from today, the doctors of Himachal Pradesh play an early and best role for any kind of health related facilities in difficult and adverse circumstances.

He said that this decision taken by the government is a big mess with the people of Himachal Pradesh and the health services provided by the doctors for the people of Himachal Pradesh. We want to tell Hon’ble Chief Minister that this decision is anti-people and this decision should be withdrawn with immediate effect.
