Students participating in inter school sports competition were honored

RS Pura, May 13 (Hindustan Times). On behalf of the Department of Youth Services and Sports, the students of various schools who secured better positions in the inter-school competition in Zone RS Pura were honored during a program organized by the department on Saturday.

During this felicitation ceremony, District Officer of Youth Service and Sports Department Sukhdev Raj Sharma was present as the chief guest while ZPEO Rakesh Kakkar was specially present. During this, the chief guest honored the students with trophies and mementos and encouraged them and said that it has always been the endeavor of the Youth Service and Sports Department to bring the students forward towards better education as well as sports.

He said that the students who participated in the sports competition organized at the zonal level in the past have been felicitated. He said that such sports competitions are regularly organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department so that students can come forward towards sports along with education. He said that after playing at the zone level, there are many players who have been selected at the state and national level.

He told that such sports competitions will continue to be organized in the coming days as well. He told that earlier this competition was organized at inter school level and now soon sports competitions will be organized at zonal level. On this occasion, teachers Manmohan Singh, Virpal Singh and other teachers and students of different schools were present.
