Stock Market Closing, 29th May 2023: Indian stock markets rose for the second consecutive day and on the first trading day of the week. Sensex has jumped more than 950 points in two days. After today’s increase, investor wealth rose to Rs 283.80 lakh crore from Friday’s Rs 282.61 lakh crore. All sectors closed in Green Zone today.
Why the boom today?
The stock market gained momentum today on positive global cues and buying by investors. Today, the Indian stock market index Sensex increased by 344.69 points to 62846.38 points and Nifty increased by 91.65 points to close at 18591 points. On the last trading day of last week, the Sensex closed up 629.07 points and the Nifty closed up 178.2 points.

If we look at the current situation of Sensex and Nifty, investors have made good money today. Out of 30 Sensex, 20 closed with gains and 10 with losses. Of the 50 Nifty stocks, 34 gained, while 16 closed in the red.
Sectoral Index
Today, except for Nifty’s IT and Oil & Gas index, all the other sectoral indices closed in the green mark. Consumer durables saw the highest jump of 1.3 per cent. Apart from this, there was an increase of 1.11 percent in financial services. Matter shares also closed with a gain of 0.94 per cent.

20 out of 30 Sensex stocks advanced. In which M&M closed with a gain of 3.71 per cent. Titan closed with a gain of 2.5 per cent. Tata Steel closed 1.88 percent, SBI 1.55 percent strong. Apart from this, shares of UltraTech Cement, IndusInd Bank, ITC, HDFC Bank, NTPC, Bajaj Finserv, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, Nestle, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asian Paints, L&T and Axis Bank closed with gains. .
How did today start?
In the Indian stock market today, the BSE Sensex opened at 62,801.54 with a gain of 299.85 points or 0.48 percent. The NSE’s Nifty opened at 18,619.15, up 119.80 points or 0.65 per cent.
