Stock Market Closing, 17th May 2023: Third business of the week for the Indian stock market and disappointment for the second day in a row. In two days, the Sensex broke more than 700 points, due to which investors lost crores of rupees. After today’s fall, investors’ wealth declined to Rs 277.34 lakh crore from Rs 278.11 lakh crore yesterday and Rs 27.30 lakh crore on Monday. 278.98 lakh crores. There has been an increase of Rs 1.64 lakh crore in two trading days.

Today the Sensex closed down by 371.83 points at 61560.64 points and the Nifty closed down by 104.75 points at 18181.75 points. On Tuesday, Sensex closed down 431.24 points and Nifty down 125.7 points. On Monday, the Sensex gained 317.81 points and the Nifty gained 84.05 points.
Why was it called Kadako in the market?
Selling in banking and IT stocks dragged down the market.
How did the morning start?
The BSE Sensex opened at 61,932.32 with a flat move of 0.15 points today and closed at 61,932.47 yesterday. BSE’s Nifty opened at 18,300.45 with a slight gain of 13.95 points. Sectoral index Bank Nifty advanced 37.95 points or 0.09% to 43,941.65 and IT Nifty declined 143.55 points or 0.51% to 28,072.45.
