Dehradun: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi attended the meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party, Dehradun Metropolitan Working Committee at Swami Ramtirtha Ashram, Kuthalgate Dehradun as the Chief Guest on Wednesday. The Cabinet Minister inaugurated the Executive Committee by lighting the lamp.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said in his address that under the skillful guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state is establishing new dimensions of development day by day. He said that the state is continuously working in many sectors like health, road and air connectivity, tourism.
Minister Joshi said that many steps are being taken in the agriculture sector in the state today. He said that Prime Minister Modi has resolved that by 2030 India will be the number one manufacturing country in the world. He said that we are members of that party, whose leader is the greatest leader in the world. He said that the strongest party in the world is Bharatiya Janata Party. He called upon the district office bearers of the party to reach out to the people by giving information about the public welfare schemes of the central and state governments.
He said that under the able guidance of Prime Minister Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, our government is making continuous efforts to double the income of farmers. Bajri which was earlier called the food of poor man’s plate. Today, due to the efforts of the Prime Minister of the country, he is getting recognition at the international level. He said that due to the foresight of Modi, the year 2023 has been declared as the International Millet Year. Dhami Govt for millet in Uttarakhand Rs. 73 crore has been arranged. Expressing his confidence, he said that it is the resolution of the government, when the state turns 25 years old, we will double our production in Krishi Udyan Shri Anna Bagwani Sabha. The state government is continuously working in this direction.
Senior party officials including MLA Savita Kapoor, MLA Vinod Chamoli, Metropolitan President Siddharth Aggarwal were also present on the occasion.
