Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country’s new Parliament building on May 28. But before this, the opposition party has started its opposition. 20 opposition parties have announced strong opposition to the inauguration ceremony. The opposition forces are steadfast in their demand that the President should inaugurate the new Parliament building. A leader of the Congress party involved in the protest has advised all the opposition parties. Acharya Pramod Krishnam said that if the Prime Minister of the country does not inaugurate the Parliament building, will the PM of Pakistan?

It is OK to oppose Modi, but not to oppose the country: Acharya Pramod Krishnam

Amid protests over the inauguration of the new Parliament building, Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam tweeted that Modi’s opposition is fine, but the country’s opposition is not. He further said that Parliament is India’s heritage, not BJP’s. He further said that if the Prime Minister of India does not inaugurate the Parliament of India, will the Prime Minister of Pakistan inaugurate it? We have the right to oppose Modi but it is not right to oppose the country. I appeal to the opposition to reconsider their decision.

20 opposition forces, including the Congress, have announced a mass boycott of the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building. The opposition alleges that the spirit of democracy has been removed from Parliament under the current government at the Center and the inappropriate act of keeping the President away from the ceremony is an insult to the highest constitutional office and a direct attack on democracy.
