Chennai/New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has advised job seekers under the Rojgar Mela scheme to tell others about the benefits of the scheme. Seetharam gave appointment letters to around 250 people at a function held in Chennai.

The finance minister on Tuesday issued appointment letters to around 250 people for new recruitment in various ministries and departments, including posts, railways, health and family welfare, petroleum and defence. Meanwhile, he said that this is a step towards fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to give top priority to job creation.

Nirmala Sitharaman while talking to the newly appointed people said that apart from your family, you should tell other people about the benefits of Rojgar Mela Yojana and ask them to move forward in their lives. The Finance Minister also took a selfie with the beneficiaries during the programme. It may be mentioned that Prime Minister Modi has today given appointment letters to 71 thousand people recruited in government departments and institutions across the country.
