New Delhi: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah arrived in Delhi on Friday and met senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and former party president Rahul Gandhi.
Sources say that Siddaramaiah has come to Delhi to discuss the cabinet expansion in Karnataka with the party high command. Rahul Gandhi was also present when he reached Sonia Gandhi’s residence at 10 Janpath to meet her.
Before meeting Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, Siddaramaiah met Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Meanwhile, state minister BZ Zamir Ahmed Khan and MLA Bairthi Suresh were also with him.
It is believed that the Congress high command may soon hold a meeting with Karnataka Congress leaders for cabinet expansion.
