A record has now been recorded in the name of Sher Shah, the biopic of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC), who was martyred in the 1999 Kargil war. The streaming platform Amazon Prime Video has released information about its viewership, according to which Shershaah has become the most-watched film on this platform. However, the platform did not reveal how many lakhs or crores of people or subscribers saw the film but did reveal the number of cities where subscribers watched the film.
According to information provided by Prime Video, Shershaah was streamed by subscribers in over 4100 cities and towns in India, while it was streamed by subscribers in 210 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon claimed with this information that Shershaah is the most-watched movie of all time on their platform.

By the way, Sher Shah has got a good rating on IMDb as well. It is being touted as the most popular Hindi film with an 8.9 rating. The film got this rating from the voting of about 88 thousand users. Shershaah was released on 12 August on Prime. Shershaah is directed by Vishnu Vardhan while the producer is Karan Johar. This is Vishnu’s first Hindi and war film.
Siddharth in the film Vikram plays the role of Batra and his twin brother Vishal Batra, while Kiara Advani plays Vikram’s girlfriend Dimple Cheema. Apart from these, Shiv Pandit, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Anil Charanjit, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar, and Pawan Chopra appeared in different roles.
