Scindia family’s connection with Mainpuri goes back 250 years: Jyotiraditya Scindia

Mainpuri: Today I am very excited to come to the land of Mainpuri. On the one hand, there is an atmosphere of emotion, while today is a solemn day. Scindia Tiraha on these matters. Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia said this while addressing a public meeting organized on the occasion of unveiling the statue of Madhavrao Scindia.

He further said that by being present in Mainpuri, my heart and my mind are etched on the pages of history. I have no relation with this Mainpuri for 10-20 years. The Scindia family has a 250-year-old connection from here. There has been a time in history when foreign armies were spreading their feet on this land of Mother India, in that era the Rohilla Afghans came out with an expedition to oppress the region. My ancestor Dattaji Maharaj Scindia worked to uproot those Rohilla Afghans to maintain the unity and integrity of Mother India throughout this region. I am talking about 1770.

Jyotiraditya Scindia said that not only from this Mainpuri area, the Scindia family worked to uproot the Rohilla Afghans from Eta, Etawah, Badaun, Nazimabad. That is why the relationship with this soil has been with two great people of Scindia family. One is in the form of Madhav Mahadji Scindia and the other is that of my respected father Madhavraj Scindia.

He said that today I thank Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from the bottom of my heart for taking time out for this program (unveiling of Madhavraj Scindia’s statue).

Without naming names, the Union minister targeted the Samajwadi Party in Mainpuri, a stronghold of the party. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Yogi, work has been done to bring UP on the path of development and progress. Today, UP is India’s shining star entering the world stage and establishing its loud voice. Under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, gangsterism and mafia rule have come to an end in UP.

Jyotiraditya M from the stage. Scindia also mentioned Yogi, his family and the religious house belonging to the Scindia family. Gave information about cooperation and relationship between Nath Gharana and Scindia family. He described the family’s support and contributions to former prime ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Rajnath Singh. Political thinking may be different, ideology may be different, but mutual respect and relationship cannot be any other.

Remembering his father Madhavraj Scindia, the Aviation Minister shared his reminiscences of four life milestones from the dais. He said that I have learned a lesson from my father that politics should never be our goal, politics should be done to fulfill a goal. His aim was firstly to fulfill the responsibility given to him with two hundred percent, secondly to maintain a spotless image, thirdly that a man should always maintain relations without harming anyone and fourthly that he should live for the development, progress and happiness of the people.

The Central Civil Aviation concluded his address by reciting verses from the poem.

There is no death, no death.

Man does not die when the body dies.

The body dies but the soul does not die.

Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, Anoop Pradhan Balmiki, Harnath Singh Yadav, Ramnaresh Agnihotri, Manvendra Pratap Singh, Archana Bhadoria, Pradeep Singh Chauhan, Sangita Gupta, former MLA Ashok Singh, Alok Gupta, Tulsi Silawat, Govind Singh Rajput etc. were present.
