Mumbai: Maharashtra Board 12th overall result is 91.25 percent. Keeping up the tradition of years, the students have once again excelled in this examination. If we look at the division wise of the state, the result of Konkan division is the highest at 96.01 percent and the result of Mumbai division is the lowest at 88.13 percent. While 93 percent students have passed in the disabled category. A total of 23 subjects out of 154 have got 100 percent result. While the result of 17 colleges is being declared as zero percent.
14,28,194 students have registered from nine departments of Maharashtra. Out of them 14,16,371 students appeared for the exam. Out of which 12,92468 students appeared for the exam, the overall state result is 91.25 percent. While the overall pass result of repeat students is 44.33 percent. In the regular examination, 6,84,118 out of 7,67,386 boys passed, the overall pass percentage of boys being 89.14 percent, while 6,08,350 out of 6,48,985 girls passed, the percentage of girls being 93.73. That is why girls have passed 4.69 percent more than boys.
Last year the state result was 94.22 percent. This year it has come down to 91.25 percent. That is, compared to last year, the result has decreased by 2.97 percent this year. But this year the result has increased by 0.59 percent compared to the pre-corona era. Because in 2020 this result was 90.66 percent. With this the highest result of science stream has come 96.9 percent. It is followed by vocational course result of 91.25 percent, commerce result of 90.42 and arts result of 84.5 percent.
When talking about the city of Mumbai, a total of 3,29,337 students appeared for the exam from across Mumbai. Out of them 2,90,258 students have passed, the overall result of Mumbai city is 88.13 percent. In which also 86.6 percent boys and 90.42 percent girls have passed. Konkan has the highest pass percentage of 96.01 with 24,990 students passing out of 26,028.
