Rotten body of young man found on the road, fear of death due to overdose, died 15 days ago!

Bathinda: A burnt body of a youth has been found in the forest of Nathana village in Bathinda district. The youth’s mobile phone is switched off and an injection is found, suggesting that the youth may have injected drugs, which led to his death. A passer-by informed the police that the stench was spreading far and wide due to the presence of insects in the dead body.

After which the police reached the spot. On coming to know about the incident, the police reached the spot with the help of the members of the organization and took possession of the dead body and shifted it to Government Hospital Rampura for post-mortem.

The body looked 15 days old

Youth Welfare Society head Sonu said that a burnt body of a youth was found lying in the forest near Sirhind Canal in Nathana village. After which Harshit Chawla, activists Satnam Singh, Manik Singh and the police team of Bathinda Yuva Kalyan Society of Thana city Rampura reached the spot. The body of the youth was about 15 days old, badly burnt.

 

The injection was filled with fluid

The dead body was full of insects, the skin had melted and the stench was spreading far and wide. An injection was found in the body, which also contained some fluid, indicating that the deceased had given a white injection. The youth died due to overdose. Deceased was wearing blue jeans pants, shoes and T-shirt, watch in left hand, light brown belt.
At present, the identity of the deceased has not been established. After preliminary action, the police took possession of the body and sent it to Civil Hospital Rampura.
