Road accident in Ramnagar Kodopur, Bike rider father and son killed

Varanasi: A bike rider father-son and daughter tragically died in a road accident near Kodopur village of Ramnagar police station area on Wednesday morning. As soon as the accident was reported, there was an uproar in the family. The police reached the spot and took the dead bodies into their possession. All three were returning home from BHU Sarsundar Lal Hospital.

Avinash Prasad (65) of Ramnagar Domri village admitted his aged and ailing father to BHU Sir Sundarlal Hospital and was taking care of him. Avinash Prasad’s son Ratandeep (24) and daughter Jyoti (28) also reached the hospital late on Tuesday evening to visit their grandfather. Avinash’s elder daughter Preeti’s wedding is scheduled on May 21.

Avinash was returning home on a bike early in the morning after seeing his daughter’s wedding arrangements with his son Ratandeep and daughter Jyoti after dropping off a relative near his elderly father in the hospital. As soon as Avinash reached Kodopur village, a speeding tractor hit him from behind. Avinash and Jyoti died tragically in the accident. Also, Ratandeep was seriously injured. Seeing this, the driver ran away with the tractor-trolley.

Injured Ratandeep gathers courage and somehow reports the incident to the family through mobile and faints. As soon as the information was received, the family members and the police also reached the spot. An unconscious Ratandeep was rushed to Ramnagar Hospital, where he also died. In the house where the wedding preparations were going on, the death of three people, including the head of the family, left silence.

On the other hand, after hearing the news of the death of son, grandson and granddaughter, the old man admitted to the hospital is also in a delicate condition. The police sent the three bodies for post-mortem after the panchnama.
