Revolutionizing WhatsApp: Ditching Texts for Video Messages – Here’s How It’s Done

Exciting WhatsApp Features Unveiled for this Year

WhatsApp is gearing up to introduce several new features this year, enhancing user experience and connectivity. Over the past 7 months, a plethora of features has been rolled out, and now, the app is launching a groundbreaking video messaging feature for iOS users. In its official changelog, the company states, “You can now instantly record and send video messages within your chats.” To access this feature, simply tap on the microphone icon in the chat to switch to video mode.

Moreover, the platform is also introducing support for screen sharing during video calls. Upon initiating a video call, users will notice a new “Screen Share” button. The company has announced that this feature will be launched in the coming weeks. Just last month, the messaging platform introduced landscape mode support for video calls and options for unknown callers on iOS, enhancing the versatility of the platform.

Enhanced Privacy and Navigation

Users can now ensure privacy during calls by selecting the “Silence” option for unknown callers in the settings. Additionally, the platform has introduced the capability to seamlessly transfer full account history when switching to a new device. This functionality can be accessed by navigating to the chat options in settings and transferring the chat to an iPhone.

Revamped Sticker Collection and Avatars

A significantly expanded set of stickers, including a redesigned sticker tray and a variety of avatars, has also been launched, providing users with better navigation and creative expression.

WhatsApp continues to evolve and innovate, catering to user needs and preferences. With these exciting new features on the horizon, the platform remains at the forefront of modern communication technology.
