Relief court quashes Azam Khan’s sentence in hate speech case

Samajwadi Party leader and former MLA Azam Khan has got a big relief. Today, the trial court quashed the sentencing order in the hate speech case. Azam Khan appealed to the Sessions Court against the sentence.

This is the same hate speech case in which MLA Azam Khan was sacked and sentenced to three years in jail.

Azam Khan appealed against this sentence in the Sessions Court. The case was heard in the Sessions Court on Wednesday. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court acquitted Azam Khan of the charge of making inflammatory speech. The court set aside the decision of the lower magistrate’s court. In this case, the court has given its judgment in 70 pages.
