Relief camp not paid even after six years, appeal to officers including minister

Araria: In Forbesganj, floods in 2017 wreaked havoc in both urban and rural areas. Floods caused heavy loss of life and property in urban and rural areas.

In this call of disaster, the administration organized flood relief camps in urban and rural areas, but even after six years, the censors who set up the camps are yet to be paid, leaving the censors upset.

In this series a flood relief camp was organized for Bhagkohlia Ward No.1 to 7 from 13th to 18th August 2017 by late Khutar Mandal, the father of Arjun Mandal. But till now the camp amount has not been paid to Arjun Mandal. While Farbisganj Zonal Officer and After exhausting pleading with other officials, he has appealed to Bihar government’s Disaster Management Department Minister Shahnawaz Alam.

In the flood relief camp, goods were purchased on loan from a grocery shopkeeper. Apart from this, payment of workmen, gas cylinder, generator and other materials are also pending. They are concerned about this. Direction of payment after check.
