RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has said that the objective of introducing Rs 2000 note has been achieved. 2000 rupee notes will be exchanged and deposited under the system itself, so that the common people do not face any problem. Banks have been instructed to be fully prepared for this. Along with this, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said that you can easily buy 2000 note items by going to the shop.

2000’s note will be legal tender

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das says that Rs 200 note has been discontinued to compensate for the notes closed after demonetisation. 2000 notes were introduced. After this it has been decided to withdraw these notes from circulation. However, the Rs 2,000 note will remain legal tender and can be easily deposited and exchanged in banks till September 30, 2023.
