Ranveer Singh replaced Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Kishore Kumar

Mumbai: Ranveer Singh is expected to be the finalist instead of Ranbir Kapoor for the role of Kishore Kumar in the biopic of Bollywood veteran singer Kishore Kumar.

This film is being made by director Anurag Basu. The shooting of the film may begin at the end of this year. It was believed for many years that Ranbir Kapoor will play the lead role of Kishore Kumar. However, according to a discussion, Ranbir Kapoor suggested that the film’s story should focus more on the events of Kishore Kumar’s personal life, but Anurag Basu refused to do so. After that, Ranbir is not interested in this project.

So now it is being said that the makers have offered the film to Ranveer. However, the problem is that currently Ranveer Singh is failing commercially. If his next film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ is successful then the financiers of the film may agree on Ranveer’s name.

Meanwhile, perhaps Sanjay Leela Bhansali can finalize Ranveer for ‘Baiju Bawra’. However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also facing money problem. If this problem ends then Ranveer may prefer ‘Baiju Bawra’.

Some time ago there was news that Ranveer has also been offered the lead role of Don in the third part of Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don’.
