After this, it was tracked with the help of informers and around 9:00 am, the STF team surrounded and intercepted the vehicle as soon as it turned towards Ambadi Canal Road of Siliguri Police Commissionerate. The coffin inside the ambulance was decorated with flowers and four people sat around it. These people said that there is a dead body inside the coffin which is being taken to Bihar.

However, the STF jawans had solid information, so regardless of their objections, the coffin was opened, revealing 64 kg of ganja contained in 18 packets. After arresting all these, legal action has been started by registering a case under the sections of Prevention of Drug Trafficking Act NDPS Act in New Jalpaiguri Police Station.
