[ad_1]

Prayagraj, May 18 (Hindustan). The Allahabad High Court has stayed coercive action against independent candidate Chandramani Pandey alias Sudama and two of his associates in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections under an FIR registered against toll employee Kuldeep Verma for assault and vandalism. The High Court has sought a reply from the state government within six weeks.

Justice Vivek Verma passed this order on the petition of Chandramani Pandey and two others. The petition states that the investigating officer has filed a charge sheet under Sections 323, 504, 427, 452, 188 and 8A of the National Highway Authority of India Act. On which ACJM III Basti has issued summons to the petitioners. The petition challenges the order of charge sheet and summons. The court has also issued notice to the opposition-complainant Kuldeep Verma to file a reply. The next hearing of the application will be on August 3.
