Press Club Katra mourns the sad demise of senior journalist Tilak Raj

Katra, May 13 (Hindustan Times). Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Press Media Club of Katra expressed deep sorrow by organizing a condolence meeting on Saturday on the sad demise of senior Katra journalist Tilak Raj alias Tony Pada.

A condolence meeting was organized in the office under the chairmanship of club president Arun Sharma. The present members observed silence for 2 minutes and prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul and prayed to God to give courage to his family. Pradhan Arun Sharma while paying tribute on the occasion said that the stage at which Katra’s media has reached today is due to senior journalist Tony Pada, influenced by whom many journalists are rendering services.

Be it the matter of conveying the news to the masses in the Katra region or the interest of the Katra town, Tony Pada was always in the forefront. He was always active for the welfare of Katra till the last breath of his life. During his lifetime, Tony Pada was also continuously active in service works. Along with the poor, Tony Pada continued to help the poor from time to time.

Always told the currently working journalists that they should always keep writing for the welfare of the people of the society with full hard work and honesty, so that the name of Katra along with the society would be glorified. Club Chairman Shyam Pujari, Vice Chairman Rakesh Sharma, President Arun Sharma, General Secretary Sanjay Sharma, Senior Vice President Sohan Kohli, Vice President Rohit Sharma, Shubham Sharma, Diwakar Sharma, Honey Sadotra, Abhishek Kesar, Rajat Sharma, Manish Raina were present on the occasion. Other members of the club were also present.
