Preparations for bulldozer action in Bahraich, notice of illegal construction to 23 houses including Abdul Hamid

There was a lot of violence in the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh recently. Ram Gopal Mishra was killed in stone pelting and firing on people going for immersion after Durga Puja in the Maharajganj area. There was a lot of tension in the area after this incident. The police took action and arrested the accused of violence and murder. At the same time, the administration is now preparing to run a bulldozer on illegal construction in the area. A notice has been issued for illegal construction in a total of 23 houses, including the house of Abdul Hameed, the main accused of the riots in Bahraich.

Notice of illegal construction in 23 houses

The PWD department has put up notices on 23 houses including the house of Abdul Hameed, the main accused in the riots, in Bahraich’s Maharajganj market regarding illegal construction. The notice says that if their house is within 60 feet of the central road, then they should show the permission copy of the construction, or else they should demolish their construction themselves.

3 days 

The administration has given 3 days to remove the illegal construction. This notice was issued on 17 October. As per the date of issuing the notice, everyone has time till tomorrow. The administration can take bulldozer action from the day after tomorrow. There are 20 feet of illegal construction in the house of Abdul Hameed, the main accused of the riots. Notices have been put up in a total of 23 houses, out of which 19 are Muslim houses and 4 are Hindu houses.

Accused in judicial custody for 14 days

All the five accused in the riots case in Maharajganj of Bahraich have been sent to 14 days judicial custody. These 5 accused were arrested after an encounter near the India-Nepal border. The arrested accused included Mohammad Faheem, Mohammad Talib alias Sabloo, Mohammad Sarfaraz, Abdul Hameed, and Mohammad Afzal. Action will be taken against all the accused involved in this incident under the National Security Act (NPA).
