Prasannajit Kaur from Poonch district has secured 11th rank in UPSC exam.

Prasannajit Kaur from Poonch district bordering Jammu has secured 11th rank across the country in the UPSC examination. By achieving this milestone, he has proved that no matter what the circumstances, any goal can be achieved if one has an eye on the destination.

Prasanjit Pitra Nirmal Singh said that at the time I passed by, Poonch neither had internet facilities nor a good coaching center to help them. He said that by doing all this he was facing difficulty in making notes etc. He said that he got full support from his family, friends, school teachers and college professors to prepare for this exam.

He went on to say that last year there was success in the JKAS exam, but he was not satisfied with it. He said that my only dream is to serve the country by becoming an IAS officer. For which he left all his happiness and concentrated on his studies. Also kept himself away from family functions. Let us tell that Prasanjit’s father Nirmal Singh is a pharmacist in the health department. He said that Poonch is a frontier and backward district. Although facilities are lacking, his daughter has achieved this position through hard work and dedication.
