Prana Pratishtha program in newly built temples started with Srimad Bhagwat Katha

Gorakhpur, May 14 (Hindustan Times). The deities are to be anointed in the new temples of nine deities built in the Gorakhnath temple premises. A seven-day Srimad Bhagavata Purana Katha Jnanayajna and Sri Lakshminarayan Mahayajna will also be organized on this occasion. Which will be inaugurated on Monday i.e. May 15 in the presence of Chief Minister and Gorakspithadhiswar Yogi Adityanath. On 21st May, Goraksapithadhishwar Dev will abhishek the idols.

Rituals will be organized in two stages on the occasion of abhishek of the deities in the new temples with nine deities in Gorakspeeth. The seven-day Katha of the first phase of Sri Shiv Mahapurana Katha, which began on May 8, ended on Sunday in the presence of the Chief Minister and Goraksapithadhishwar. On Monday, May 15, the second phase of the ritual will begin with Srimad Bhagwat Mahapurana and Sri Lakshminarayana Mahayagna. Sridham Vrindavan Dr. Shyam Sundar Parashar will narrate Srimad Bhagwat Katha which will run till May 21.

Yogi Kamalnath, chief priest of Gorakhnath temple, said that on the occasion of initiation of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Goraksapithadhishwar Rudrabhishek will be performed in Mansarovar temple, Andhiari Bagh at 7 am on Monday. After that, a procession of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha will take place under his guidance. A chariot procession of all the nine deities will also take place. Drenched in devotion, this Kalashayatra-Rathayatra will end at the yagnashala of the Gorakhnath temple. Srimad Bhagwat Mahapuran pothi will be honored according to Vedic rules at Katha Sthalam Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan. The story will begin here at 3 pm in the presence of Chief Minister and Gorakspithadhiswar Yogi Adityanath. Narration of the story can be done daily from 3 to 6 pm.

Shri Lakshminarayan Mahayagna will be organized from May 15 to May 21 at the Gorakhnath Temple Yagnashala. Various religious programs will be held from 8 am to 12 pm and 02 pm to 05 pm every day. The chief priest of the temple, Pandit Ramanuja Tripathi, will perform the role of Vedic Yajnacharya.
