The PM wore a special jacket made of recycled material at the G7 summit. This jacket of PM gives the message of stability to the world. PM Modi has also emphasized on promoting Indian culture in his foreign tours.
Jacket made from recycled bottles
The PM’s jacket was made by collecting used bottles, crushing and melting them, then adding dyes to make yarn. In this way the jacket was made by recycling the old material of PM.
At the same time, even before this, PM Modi reached the Lok Sabha on February 8, 2023, wearing the same light blue jacket. The jacket was made from recycled plastic bottles. PM Modi stressed on working together to deal with multiple crises during the G-7 summit in Hiroshima.
Message given on the use of natural resources
In a special session of the conference, he gave a message to the world for the proper use of natural resources. At the same time, he also highlighted the changing overall application of development models. PM Modi said, ‘I believe that the development model should show the way to development. The progress of developing countries should not be hindered. Along with this, he emphasized on creating a new model of natural farming as an alternative to fertilizers in the whole world. The PM said that I believe that we should take the benefit of digital technology to every farmer in the world.
Unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi
The Prime Minister unveiled a statue of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, in Hiroshima, Japan, which speaks of the Indian values of peace and non-violence. The PM also met a linguist and artist associated with Indian culture and encouraged him. The PM also said during the conference that it should be our endeavor to separate organic food from fashion statement and commerce and link it with nutrition and health.
