Washington: It has been announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be awarded the World Peace Award. This award will be given to him in America. The Indian American Minorities Association (AIAM) has made this announcement at Sligo Seventh Day Adventist Church in Maryland. It is a non-governmental organization. The purpose of taking this step is to unite the people of the Indian minority community in America to promote their welfare. This award will be given to PM Modi for his efforts for world peace and uniting society.
During this program, PM Modi will be honored with the Martin Luther King Jr. Global Peace Award in Washington for uplifting minorities. This award will be given jointly by Washington Adventist University and AIAM. It aims to promote the welfare of minorities along with their inclusive development. Renowned philanthropist Jasdeep Singh has been appointed as the founder and chairman of AIM. It also has a 7-member board of directors to encourage the minority community. It includes Baljinder Singh, Dr. Sukhpal Dhanoa (Sikh), Pawan Bezwada and Elisha Pulivarti (Christians), Deepak Thakkar (Hindu), Junaid Kazi (Muslim) and Indian weaver Nissim Rivben Shawl.
