New York: PM Modi is on a US tour these days. Here on Sunday, he addressed the NRIs at Nassau Coliseum in New York. Addressing the NRIs at the Coliseum located in Long Island, PM Modi gave information about India’s development. PM Modi started his address by saying “Namaste US!” He said ‘Now our Namaste has also become global, it has now gone from local to global, and all this has been done by you.’ He said, “I have always understood your potential, the potential of the Indian diaspora. I understood it even when I did not hold any government post and I understand it even today. For me, all of you have been strong brand ambassadors of India. That is why I call you ‘Rashtradoot’.”

India’s 5G market is bigger than America.

Talking about development in India, PM Modi said, “Today India is a land of opportunities. Now India does not wait for opportunities. Now India creates opportunities.” He further said, “India is connected today, never before. Today India’s 5G market… should I tell you, you won’t feel bad, right?… Today India’s 5G market has become bigger than America and all this has happened within two years. Now India is working on Made-in-India 6G.”

Here are the wallets in pockets, digital wallets in India

Referring to the digital progress made by India, PM Modi told the Indian Americans that they may have wallets in their pockets here, but in India, people have ‘digital wallets’. PM Modi said that India does not want its global dominance. He said that India is not like fire. The Prime Minister said, “We are like the sun which gives light.” At the same time, the Prime Minister criticized the West over carbon emissions and said that India has no role in destroying the world. Modi said that India has 17 percent of the world’s population and its carbon emissions are less than four percent.
