PM Modi meets his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Minh Chinh

New Delhi, 20 May (Hindustan Times). Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh in Japan today on the sidelines of the G7 Summit.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Vindam Bagchi said regional developments, ASEAN and Indo-Pacific cooperation were discussed during the talks.

During this, both the leaders discussed expanding the scope of their cooperation. The discussions covered trade and investment, defence, creating resilient supply chains, energy, science and technology, human resource development and cultural and people-to-people relations.
