Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. PM Modi has inaugurated the RJ Shankara Eye Hospital in Kashi. During this, Governor Anandi Ben Patel and CM Yogi were also present with him.
The gift of a project worth Rs 6,611 crore
On his visit to Varanasi, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the new terminal building under the expansion of Babatpur Airport today. PM Modi will gift 24 projects worth about Rs 6,611 crore to 5 states from Varanasi itself.
He will also inaugurate projects in these areas.
During his Varanasi visit, PM Modi will also inaugurate other projects related to health, education, sports, religion, tourism, and housing. Apart from this, PM Modi can also announce a new free food program started by the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust.
PM Modi will do a roadshow.
During his visit to Varanasi, PM Modi is going to lay the foundation stone for the runway extension and building of the international airport. Along with this, he will do a road show from Gilat Bazaar to Atulanand. He will address a public meeting at Sigra Stadium.
Rail-road bridge on Ganga gets approval.
Before he visited Varanasi, PM Modi wrote on the social media platform X, ‘We are leaving no stone unturned for the convenience of the people of Kashi. In this series, a rail-road bridge has been approved over the Ganga. This will not only provide better connectivity to pilgrims, tourists, and the people here but will also create new opportunities for employment and business.’
The cost will be around 2642 crores.
According to the government, the total estimated cost of the project will be around Rs 2,642 crore. It will be completed in four years. The project is in line with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a new India.
