Australia

Australia was the first country in the world to introduce plastic notes in 1988. Australia is also the only country where polymer notes are made and these notes are also exported to other countries.

new zealand

Australia’s neighboring country New Zealand is also one such country. Here in 1999 the place of paper currency was replaced by plastic currency. This currency is also called New Zealand Dollar. Here the biggest note is 100 dollars and the smallest note is 5 dollars.

Papua New Guinea

It is a small bilateral country located in the Pacific Ocean. It got independence from Australia in 1949. Till 1975, the Australian dollar was used here. After that a new currency was introduced here in the form of Kina. In the year 2000, this currency was converted into a plastic note.

brunei

It is a small Muslim country in Southeast Asia. The name of the currency here is Brunei Dollar. When the number of fake notes started increasing in the country, the trend of plastic currency started here.

 

Vietnam

It is a South East Asian country where plastic currency was introduced in the year 2003. Vietnamese dong is used here. In which the highest value note is of five lakhs. Which is considered equal to 20 US dollars.

romania

Romania is the first and only country in Europe to adopt plastic currency. The currency here is called the Romanian Leu. In the year 2005, the government here changed the Romanian currency note to plastic note.
