A one-day awareness program to increase (double) the income of Scheduled Caste farmers of selected villages under SC-ST scheme under ACRIP on Agrometrology Center of Chandrasekhar Azad University of Agricultural Technology (CSA) was organized at Nanamau Gram Panchayat. . Here Jinag (Organic Soluble Fertilizer) and Cyper 25 (Insecticide) were distributed to farmers for pest control. Agricultural meteorologist Dr. S. N. Sunil Pandey informed the farmers about the impact of climate change on agricultural crops and animals and how to protect them. Information was also given on seasonal changes like more rain, more cold, less rainy days etc. due to climate change and how to protect crops from pests.

He informed that the SC-ST scheme is being implemented in collaboration with the Central Rainfed Agriculture Research Institute of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Through this scheme, the farmers of Gohanlia Purva, Kushaha and Dhaka Purva villages of Nanamal Gram Panchayat were informed about the damage caused by climate change and its mitigation. Along with this, the questions of the farmers were also answered in a scientific manner. Meanwhile CV Singh, Dr. Ajay Mishra, Hariom Dwivedi etc. were present.
