Pakistan Army wants to keep Imran in jail for 10 years by implicating him in treason

Islamabad : Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has alleged that the Pakistan Army wants to keep him in jail for the next ten years by implicating him on charges of treason. In a tweet on Monday, Imran termed it as the London plan i.e. the plan of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Imran Khan, former Prime Minister of Pakistan and head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, held a meeting with the party leaders at his residence in Lahore to plan ahead. By tweeting after the meeting, he made serious allegations against the Pakistan Army. Imran said that all this is happening under the London plan, which was made by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while sitting in London. Imran alleged that he had a plan to send Begum Bushra to jail so that she could be humiliated. Also sedition law is being invoked to keep him in jail for the next 10 years.

Imran Khan said that the army did two things to avoid public reaction. The first task was to spread terror among the common people along with PTI workers and the second task was to establish complete control over the media. He also accused the army of breaking into people’s houses and assaulting women. Alleged that there is a deliberate attempt to create fear among the people so that when the army men come to arrest them, they do not come out. There were apprehensions that the army men would again suspend internet services and ban social media.
