Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally inaugurated Sengol in the new Parliament and dedicated it to the nation. Ahead of the inauguration of the new Parliament, the Prime Minister shared a video of the new Parliament on his Twitter account on May 26 and appealed to people to lend their voice and posted the hashtag #MyParliamentMyPride on social media. After this many film personalities, politicians and people also gave their voice to this video and shared it on social media. After PM Modi’s appeal, film stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Manoj Muntashir have given their voice in a new video of Parliament House, which PM Modi himself has retweeted.

In the video, Shah Rukh Khan refers to the new parliament building as ‘a new home for those who care for our constitution’, ‘Naya Parliament House’. The new home of our hopes, the home of the defenders of our Constitution, where 140 crore Indians are one family. PM Modi also retweeted the video shared by Akshay Kumar with voice over. Akshay Kumar called the new Parliament building an ‘iconic symbol of India’s development saga’. PM Modi agreed with the Bollywood actor and said that the building represents the country’s rich heritage.

 

 

Anupam Kher said – This is the temple of democracy
