CBI has registered an FIR against Wankhede
Let us tell you that in the case of Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, the former officer of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Sameer Wankhede is surrounded by allegations of taking bribe. CBI has registered an FIR against him.
What is the charge on Wankhede?
Let us tell you that former NCB officer Sameer Wankhede is accused of taking a bribe of Rs 25 crore in exchange for not making Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan an accused in the case of the seizure of drugs from the Cordelia Cruise bound for Goa on October 3. 2021. Due to these allegations, the CBI had recently registered an FIR against Wankhede and four others. However, Wankhede, in his petition filed before the vacation bench of the High Court, has appealed that no punitive action be taken against him in connection with the FIR registered in the CBI. The decision of the bench is yet to come on this petition of Wankhede.
