Ola launches first electric bike; The new e-scooter Ola S1X was also launched in the market at a low price

Electric scooter manufacturer Ola has launched a new electric scooter Ola S1X at an affordable price. Apart from this, the company has also launched its first electric bike. This bike will be available for sale in 3 variants. The CEO of Ola Electric had hinted a few days ago that the company will launch new electric vehicles on August 15.

Ola Electric, India’s largest electric scooter maker, on Tuesday launched its cheapest electric scooter Ola S1X in a bid to attract more buyers. Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Agarwal-led startup launched its new offering Ola S1X electric scooter along with other new products at its End Ice Age Part 1 event on Independence Day.

Ola’s new scooter is named ICE Killer. The Ola S1X comes in two variants with a range of 150 km. The starting price of Ola S1X is around Rs 79,999. The company has started the booking of the new scooter from August 15, and many attractive offers are being given on the booking till August 21. The Ola S1X electric scooter is also said to start deliveries in December this year.

Along with the launch of the Ola S1X scooter, Ola Electric has launched its first electric bike in 3 variants. It has launched the electric bike with 3 variants namely Cruiser, Adventure and Roadster. The company has not yet disclosed the price, features etc. of the bike. However, it is being said that the company may launch this electric bike in the festive season before December.

What Ola Electric launched on 15th August 2023?-

  • Ola S1X Electric Scooter- This scooter is the cheapest in the portfolio.
  • Ola Electric Bike- Ola Electric has unveiled e-bikes in Cruiser, Adventure and Roadster variants.
  • Ola Electric has also unveiled a superbike named Diamond Head. Not much has been revealed about this yet.
  • MoveOS 4 Software- This new software from Ola Electric will extend the range of scooters with in-vehicle technology and features.
