The longest officially released song to date is 115 hours 45 minutes by Mark Christopher Lee and The Pocket Gods from St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK on 1 December 2021. They achieved this record by playing the same type of instrumental music. But I (Dr. Pillai) made this record in the name of India by making a long song of 138 hours minutes 02 seconds and officially broadcasting it all over the world after many years of hard work and dedication in the tune composed by me. .
Dr. Pillai points out that only in 2016 was the record for the world’s longest officially broadcast song held by an American, but that was in instrumental music. Since then there was a desire to break this record because when India has great texts like Ramayana, Mahabharata then this record should also be in the name of India and he himself started trying to break this record by singing a song. He said that being an Awadhi language, he had earlier taken the help of one of his friends, Pradeep Mishra, to understand the colloquial and pronunciation of the language. Then approached his friend Deepak Jaiswal, owner of Unnati Studios, to record for such a long time. He promised to support its complete recording with minimal cost. Deepak Jaiswal will also be honored with a “Guinness Participation Certificate”.
-Started on May 20, 2019 based on Guinness World Records rules
