Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh is lodged in Dibrugarh jail in Assam. On whom Ajla has accused of violence. According to the information, the NIA team has left for London to investigate the attack on the Indian High Commission in London. However, the NIA has also taken the list of important postal stamps related to Khalistan in its hands. NIA team can share this list with Scotland Yard (British agency). According to the information, the NIA will reach London and record the statements of some people. Apart from this, CCTV footage installed around the High Commission will be examined. The NIA team consists of 3 to 4 members. On 19 March, Khalistan supporters rioted in London in protest against the police crackdown on Amritpal Singh, the arrested chief of Punjab’s pro-Khalistan organization ‘Waris Punjab Day’.
Special Cell of Delhi Police has started functioning
During the demonstration outside the High Commission, Khalistan supporters removed the Indian flag from the mission and put the Khalistan flag there. The protesters vandalized the High Commission and raised anti-India slogans. However, later Indian officials hoisted a bigger tricolor there. NIA had registered a case regarding this incident. After the order of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Special Cell of Delhi Police has registered a case in this matter and started investigation. Later the case has been transferred to NIA. A person has also been arrested in this case
