Neeraj Chopra to participate in Paavo Nurmi Games: The tournament will be held on June 13 in Turku, Finland.

Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra from Haryana’s Panipat is training hard for Mission Paris. He has played his first match of this year in Doha League. In which he has won the gold medal. After this, he will now participate in the ‘Fanny Blankers-Koen Games’ in Hengelo, Netherlands on June 4. Also, he will have two more competitions in the month of June.

Neeraj Chopra will attend

Neeraj Chopra will look to better his silver medal effort at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku, Finland, on June 13, which will be his third competition of the season. A year ago in Turku, Chopra cleared 89.30m to win silver, and later improved to 89.94m to finish second at the World Championships in Eugene, USA. The Paavo Nurmi Games is a World Athletics Continental Tour gold-level meeting.

 

Chopra will also take on Tokyo Olympics silver-medallist Jacob Wadledge, Trinidad and Tobago’s Keshorn Walcott, European champion Julian Weber of Germany and European Championships bronze-medallist Lassi Atello of Finland. A year ago in Turku, Chopra cleared 89.30m to win silver, and later improved to 89.94m to finish second at the World Championships in Eugene, USA.
