Murder of friend over stolen money, accused caught

Greater Noida: On Sunday night, two friends had a fight over the stolen money at Noida Police Station Phase Two Gheza Road. One friend hit the other with the sides of the bed. The police took action and arrested the accused friend.

According to Noida Police, Rohit and Shivam lived in a rented room on Gheza Road. Due to rift, the two started living separately for the past few days. Locals said that there was an altercation between Rohit and Shivam late on Sunday night.

Shivam said that Rohit had accused him of stealing money. The dispute escalated to such an extent that Rohit attacked Shivam with a bed lying nearby. Enraged, he inflicted multiple blows on Shivam’s head, causing him to die on the spot. After sending the dead body for post-mortem, the police arrested the accused and started further proceedings after getting the information.
