The function will be organized at the Municipal Corporation under the supervision of Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Singh Sogarwal and Nodal ADM Administration in Nagar Panchayats Purushottam Das Gupta, Chief Revenue Officer Sushil Kumar Gaur, ADM Finance Rajesh Kumar Singh.

The swearing in ceremony of Mayor and Councilor of Municipal Corporation will be held at Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium located in Ramgarhtal area from 12 noon. The city commissioner said that the date has been fixed after receiving the notification from the government. Counting of municipal elections was done on 13th May. After this, the exercise of forming a city government began. On Tuesday, the government issued a directive to take oath on either of May 26 and 27. Following this, the officials on Wednesday decided to hold the swearing-in ceremony on May 27. Commissioner Mayor will administer oath to Dr. Manglesh. After this, the mayor will administer oath to five councilors each. 6.57 lakhs will be spent by the Municipal Corporation on other arrangements including refreshments and water in the entire arrangement.

A full majority government will be formed

For the first time after the municipal elections, the city government will be formed with an absolute majority. There are total 80 wards in the city. In which 42 councilors of BJP have won. A total of 41 seats had to be won to form the Municipal Board with an absolute majority. This time, 42 BJP, 17 SP, 05 BSP, 01 Congress and 15 independent candidates have won in the election. Ziaul Islam from Ghantaghar Ward No. 76 and Devendra Gound Pintu from Civil Lines-2 will take oath for the fifth time in the municipal elections. November 16 Rishimohan Verma from Digvijay Nagar ward and November 52 Vijay Chowk councilor Manu Jaiswal will take oath for the third time. The Mayor and Councilors of the Municipal Corporation will take oath under the supervision of Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Singh Sogarwal.
